Bread


khubz rakhal

 

 

  The Omani Bread Crepe has become extremely popular over the past few years. Paper-thin, crispy Omani bread called khubzrakhal is filled with cheese, honey or egg, or a combination of all three. Some café owners also sell the crepes with a spread of Nutella. Best enjoyed with chai karak, also known as Masala chai tea, crepes are mostly found in the little Karak teashops dotted around the capital and cost from 300 baisa.

Mendazi

 
 components

1.      3 cups of flour

2.      3/4 cup sugar

3.      1 tablespoon butter

4.      1 egg

5.      1 teaspoon yeast

6.      3 tablespoons of coconut powder

7.      3/4 cup milk

8.      Seeds 1 tablespoon cardamom powder

9.      Oil for frying.

 

 

It should allow all ingredients to come to room temperature if it has been in the refrigerator.

In a bowl combine the flour, sugar, coconut, dried yeast and cardamom. Mix the butter, milk and eggs together. Add this mixture to the flour gradually with kneading the dough. Knead until smooth and elastic dough is formed twenty minutes to take atleast 15 cover with a cloth, and let rise in a place to arm there comes or more.

Qroos bread


Ingredients:

1.One-half teaspoon of saffron
2-cup white flour
3. Cup of rose water
4-egg
5. tablespoons milk powder
6. tablespoons sugar ½ cup water
7. Teaspoon baking powder
8. Honey or molasses
9. Possible addition Workshop Hill

Mode of action

1. Soak one-half teaspoon of saffron in a cup of rose water
2. Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir, and then add the flour
3. Put one tablespoon oil in a skillet and then boy mixture in the form of a circular group and stir fry and after that if dried pan of oil add more

Ingredients

1 kg lamb meat with bones, cut in big chunks

1 kg wheat germ, (Harris)

2 tablespoons ghee pinch of black pepper pinch of cinnamon pinch of salt

2.2 lamb meat with bones, cut in big chunks

 

 Cooking method

1. Clean wheat and soak in water for 4 hours

2. Put meat and wheat in a pressure cooker (presto).

Add salt, black pepper and around 3 liters of water.

 Cover the pressure cooker securely and leave for one hour on medium heat.

3. After an hour, remove from heat and let all vapor come out from pressure cooker. Then open it and remove the bones from meat chunks. Discard bones.

4. Transfer cooked meat and wheat to a blender bowl. Mix well on low speed until you get a thick puree.

Pour in a serving plate, spread a little ghee on top (optional) and sprinkle a little cinnamon.

  Serve hot.

Ingredients      

Ingredients for marinating the chicken

1 tbsp. (15 ml) of ginger garlic paste

1 tsp (5 ml) of coriander powder

1 cup (236 ml) of curd or milk with one lemon juice

1 tbsp. (15 ml) garlic paste

1 tsp biryani masala (2 cardamom,1 in (2.5 cm) cinnamon, 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) fenugreek,
 3 clove. take all these, fry them without oil, make them powder.)

A pinch of salt

Mix all of the above ingredients and let the chicken marinate for 6-12 hours in refrigerator,
the more the better.

Herbs, spices and condiments used are as follows ◦8 cloves

◦1 Cinnamon stick

◦6 green Cardamoms

◦2 Bay leaves

◦1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) shahi jeera (caraway seeds)

◦A few pinches grated nutmeg and mace each

◦1 tsp (5 ml) Coriander powder

◦1 tsp (5 ml) red Chili powder (to taste)

◦1 tbsp (15 ml) Gram Masala Powder

◦5-6 tbsp (75-90 ml) of chopped fresh mint

◦2-3 chopped green Chilies

◦4-5 chopped Tomatoes

◦A whole bunch of fresh coriander leaves

◦1 inch (2.5 cm) piece of ginger root, grated

◦1 kg (2.2 lb) basmati, jasmine or ganador rice

◦1 cup (236 ml) tomato paste (not tomato sauce)

◦1 cup (236 ml) milk, cream, or yoghurt

 For fried onions ◦About 8-9 medium size onions

Ingredients



1- 2 kg chicken breast (without bone or skin)
2- Kilo drenched rice
3- 2 liters of boiling water
4- Salt to taste

Cooking method

Boil chicken after a good wash until cooked
Keeps boiling water

Al Khabeesah
 
 

 


* Modus operandi of Al Khabeesah Oman.

Ingredients:

Ingredients

 

2 cups or 500 ml of milk
 
1 pack or 395 grams of NESTLÉ
Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 teaspoon ground cardamom

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons water

½ teaspoon ground saffron
 

Directions:

How to prepare

In a medium-sized saucepan, mixing semolina with milk and leave the ingredients to boil.

NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk is added to the butter, cardamom and rose water and saffron powder and continues cooking for 10 minutes.

Movement of components to the pot pie to provide equal footing and leave before serving. Al Khabeesah will become a bit thick when cooled.
